This qualification has two units, learners can choose to do either a unit in Sustainable Engineering: Engineering and Manufacturing or Sustainable Engineering: Building Services Engineering, and is for learners 16-18, and 19+. It covers the knowledge and understanding of sustainability principles, focusing on sustainable practices, ethical considerations, and professional development. The qualification is regulated at Level 3, is supported by employers from the engineering sector and is designed to help new entrants and adults who have recently started employment or wish to secure employment in the industry. It is assessed via an EAL devised, centre marked and EAL EQA'd assignment.
