We’re proud to share that Enginuity Group, which includes EAL, has achieved Gold accreditation against the Clear Assured Global Inclusion Standard, recognising the progress we’ve made in building a more inclusive organisation and workplace culture for our colleagues.
The achievement marks an important milestone in a journey we’ve been on with the Clear Company over the past five years, progressing through Bronze and Silver accreditation before now reaching Gold status.
The Clear Assured Global Inclusion Standard is an independent accreditation that assesses how effectively organisations embed diversity, equity, inclusion and inclusive culture throughout the employee lifecycle. Gold accreditation is awarded only to organisations that can demonstrate strong and consistent inclusive practices across leadership, policies, governance, workforce data and colleague experience.
As part of the rigorous external assessment process, Enginuity was required to provide evidence of progress across our policies, practices, governance and workforce data, demonstrating how inclusion is embedded into everyday decision-making and organisational culture.
Achieving Gold places Enginuity among a select group of organisations leading the way in driving meaningful and measurable inclusion outcomes and reflects our continued commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued and able to do their best work.
The recognition follows continued investment in areas including inclusive leadership training, colleague voice initiatives, regular engagement surveys, employee voice forums and anonymous feedback channels, helping ensure colleagues feel heard and supported across the organisation.
Over the past three years, Enginuity’s diversity and inclusion index - our internal measure of inclusion based on colleague survey feedback - has increased from 7.6 to 8.4, reflecting a meaningful improvement in how colleagues experience our workplace. We’ve also seen positive changes in the diversity of our workforce, including improved gender balance, increased ethnic diversity and a broader age profile across the organisation.
Alison Corner, Group People and Communications Director at Enginuity and EAL, said: “Achieving Gold accreditation is a meaningful milestone for us because it reflects the progress we’ve made in embedding inclusion into how we work every day. Since starting this journey in 2021, progressing through Bronze and Silver to now achieving Gold, we’ve seen tangible changes in the make-up of our workforce, with improved gender balance, increased ethnic diversity, and a broader mix of ages.
“We’ve also seen our diversity and inclusion index, our internal measure of how colleagues experience inclusion, based on our annual engagement survey, increase from 7.6 to 8.4. This matters because having a more diverse workforce strengthens the perspectives and experiences we bring, and when colleagues feel they can be themselves at work, it not only supports their well-being but enables them to give their best.
“We’ve focused on creating an environment where people feel respected, heard, and able to be themselves, and where our leaders are equipped to lead inclusively. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made, and our focus now is on continuing to listen, learn and take practical action to keep improving the experience for our colleagues.”
Alexandre Maria, Director at the Clear Company, added: “We’d like to extend our congratulations to the entire team at Enginuity for achieving Gold. We’ve been proud to support them over the last five years on their D&I and culture journey, from shaping their strategy and embedding best practice across policies and processes, to delivering inclusive management training.
“It’s been a pleasure to see them go from strength to strength, putting their people and their voices at the heart of everything they do. We’re looking forward to continuing our work together as they build on this progress.”
