EAL co-founds The UK Qualifications Alliance to service international markets

EAL is proud to announce a collaboration with four other UK Awarding Organisations to form The UK Qualifications Alliance – bringing UK qualifications to the global stage.

The goal of the Alliance is to develop sustainable business in international markets, through a co-ordinated, sector-led proposition promoting workforce mobility.

The participating organisations in the UK Qualifications Alliance are:

• EAL, part of Enginuity Group
• Innovate Awarding
• Science Industry Assessment Service Limited (SIAS), part of the Cogent Skills Group (Charitable Trust)
• Skills for Justice (SfJ), part of the Workforce Development Trust
• Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT).

A united front

Global demand for trusted qualifications is changing.

International market access needs a robust, scalable, and credible delivery model that a single awarding organisation would struggle to service efficiently.

By pooling our resources, the Alliance presents a united front to regulators, major sector employers, and governments that are invested in growing diverse workforce activities and volumes. Our combined expertise at market and policy level provides effective alignment with workforce reforms and migration policy within differing market conditions.  

The UK Qualifications Alliance offers a streamlined, rigorous, and reputable qualifications portfolio including engineering, energy and industrial process, business operations, hospitality and consumer services, care, public safety, and justice.

The Alliance combines sector leadership, structured collaboration, and disciplined governance, allowing UK awarding organisations to secure opportunities at scale while retaining independence, regulatory accountability, and commercial control for each of its own specialist sectors.
