EAL Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Heat Pump Systems (Non-refrigerant Circuits) is a Vocational Related Qualification (VRQ). It covers the theory and practical requirements to install, commission and handover heat pump systems (non-refrigerant circuits), and how to inspect, service and maintain these systems.
It has been developed to enable the building services engineering sector to play its role in meeting carbon reduction. Lowering energy consumption, reducing emissions and conserving water cannot be achieved unless the sector designs, installs and maintains renewable and environmental technologies, and provides the best advice to customers.
This qualification is predominantly for learners 16-18 or 19+ who hold a BSE related NVQ; a pre-requisite to entry into this qualification, details can be found in the Qualification Manual, and are interested in expanding their skills in heat pump technologies.
As an approved centre, you can deliver recognised EAL qualifications to your learners, and receive ongoing support from our team.
We are always happy to understand how our qualifications work for you. If you have any feedback, please forward it to us.
