EAL Level 3 Award in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings

This qualification provides an opportunity for learners to understand the requirements of the Building Regulations applicable to electrical installations in dwellings for both Wales and England. It does not provide an exception to notification requirements for applicable electrical work, or provide a direct route to registration with a competent person scheme provider (such as the NICEIC).

This qualification is suitable for learners who wish to understand the requirements of applicable Building Regulations (including Part P) in relation to electrical work in dwellings in England and Wales or for learners who are already familiar with the requirements of BS 7671 in relation to electrical work in dwellings. 

Learners must be at least 16 years old.
