This award covers the principles and practices involved in the construction of electrical panels for engineering applications together with the commissioning techniques of electrical panels and associated equipment. The qualification is relevant for learners who wish to learn about electrical panels, and technician level engineers who are working with panels and wish to achieve a formal qualification. The qualification covers the relevant statutory and non-statutory legislation, safe systems of working, interpretation of drawings and diagrams, together with refurbishing, maintaining, repairing and commissioning electrical panels.
Learners must be at least 16 years old.
