Explore nowAs part of National Apprenticeship Week, which ran from February 10th to 14th, the Engineering Technical Advisor team hosted a face-to-face event at Colchester Institute's Braintree Campus, with over 30 delegates in attendance.
During the event, we provided key updates, focusing primarily on the Engineering Technician standards. A notable highlight was the discussion around the pathways evolving into their own distinct standards, which sparked rich and insightful conversations.
We also provided valuable insights into proposed changes to certain standards, such as the transition of the current MOET (Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician) to the Engineering Maintenance Technician single and dual pathways.
A huge thank you to Colchester Institute for hosting the event, and special appreciation to Amy Barr for being such a wonderful host!
In addition to the presentations, we were joined by TecQuipment, GUNT Technology Limited, and LJ Create, who showcased their impressive educational products and solutions.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Chris Eady and Andrew Beresford for stepping in as guest speakers at short notice. Your support was truly appreciated!
