EAL showcases latest engineering & manufacturing qualifications at Leeds City College

EAL recently hosted an Engineering & Manufacturing Roadshow Network Event at Leeds City College, showcasing both new and existing qualifications and apprenticeships designed to enhance the engineering and manufacturing curriculum. The event offered providers the chance to stay up to date, ask questions, and network with peers across the sector.

Topics covered at the event included:

• New Apprenticeship Standards supported by EAL
• New and existing funded EAL qualifications
• Short courses for learners aged 19+
• Sustainability-focused courses
• Battery Manufacturing course
• EAL qualification resources
• EAL Approved status

Seventeen delegates attended, representing centres such as Barnsley College, Kirklees College, Training 2000, HETA, and Burnley College. Educational supplier LJ Create was also present, demonstrating products to support teaching and learning in engineering and manufacturing.

The event concluded with a tour of Leeds City College’s Engineering department and a networking lunch.
