The new EAL Level 2 Welding Awards in MIG/MAG (QAN: 610/6477/4) and TIG Welding (QAN: 610/6476/2) are practical, industry-focused qualifications designed to build real-world welding skills and support progression into employment, apprenticeships, or higher-level welding training. 

Developed in partnership with employers, colleges and training providers, these qualifications directly address the ongoing demand for skilled welders across the UK. 

With flexible delivery models, centres can offer these qualifications: 

• As standalone short welding programmes 
• Integrated within apprenticeship routes 
• As part of engineering or fabrication study pathways 
• Through employer-funded or commercial upskilling provision
