Apprenticeship Assessment Reforms update 

As part of the apprenticeship assessment reforms, Skills England has published a list of apprenticeship standards that will be reviewed in the first wave of activity. You can view the full list below.

Skills England has confirmed that work on the assessment plans for these standards will begin before 31 January. Development work will then continue, although there are currently no fixed completion dates. This is because each assessment plan will require a different level of review and development, and timescales will therefore vary by standard. 

EAL has a number of apprenticeship standards included in this first‑wave list, including some of our most popular offerings, such as: 

• L3 Engineering Fitter 
• L3 Machining Technician 
• L3 Engineering Design Technician 

We are working closely with Skills England throughout this process and will keep you informed as further information becomes available.
